Joanne is one of Australia’s leading equine and animal artists, known for her beautifully detailed, lifelike portraits. Originally from the UK and now based in Cairns, she brings more than two decades of artistic experience to her work, with pieces hanging in homes around the world.

Specialising in horses, dogs, and wildlife, Jo captures the character, emotion, and essence of every animal she paints. Her portfolio spans graphite, oils, watercolours, pen and ink, and coloured pencils — a medium she’s recently embraced to create bold, expressive new work.

Alongside her studio practice, Joanne is an experienced art tutor, teaching workshops across Cairns and the Tablelands with Anna Jane and Co. In 2024 she launched her YouTube channel @JoanneBinghamAA to share tutorials, behind-the-scenes videos, and insights with a growing global audience.
